Our engineers have been working diligently to tune and improve the SOL scanning software.  Additionally, they have been checking performance with production hardware starting to be delivered.  They've spent several iterations of development working to improve the precision of our scans and we are very pleased with these results.

Both of these scans were produced with the same scan object, with the scanner in the near-mode position, and used 3 passes in varied orientations on the scanner.  

Conclusion:

SOL gives you greater precision per dollar than any scanner on the market, and we'll continue to improve!
